The Rebel Legion is a international non-profit Star Wars costuming organisation whose members craft highly accurate costumes representing the ‘good guys’ characters from a galaxy far far away.

Rebel Legion Elstree Base is the UK chapter of the non-profit worldwide Rebel Legion serving England, Scotland and Wales. All our members are volunteers who craft their own costume highly accurate Star Wars.

From film premieres to local community events and social outreach programs, we attend events in our own costumes to raise money for charity. Elstree Base are honoured to have worked alongside amazing charities since its inception in 2002, including Dreamflight, Rainbow Children’s Trust, Great Ormond Street, Help for Heroes and Mind as well as supporting numerous promotion events on behalf of Star Wars creators Lucasfilm and Disney.

Since its inception, the Rebel Legion has strived for inclusiveness to continually create a warm and welcoming community, regardless of one’s nationality, sexuality, gender, race, or disabilities. Whilst we will happily work alongside our sister clubs: the 501st Legion, Mandalorian Costume Club and R2 Builders club and encourage joint cooperation within the Star Wars community to strengthen our charitable aims and create an immersive Star Wars experience for every event we attend.
